William Anderson

William “Bill” E. Anderson, 59, of  Mount Vernon, died August 12, 2019 at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

Bill was born January 2, 1960  in  Mount Vernon to Harold J. and Opal M. {Fry}  Anderson.

He attended New Hope School.

He worked at Midwest Industries and CCL Farm for many years. Bill was a big Ohio State and Bengals fan. He loved Johnny Cash and knew any song of his that played.  Bill was a member of the Federal Organization of Eagles of Mount Vernon.

Bill will be deeply missed by his sister Saundra Miracle of Mount Vernon; niece Angel (Chris) Harmon; nephew Andrew Parnell; two great-nephews Tyler (Amelia) and Gabe Harmon; and great-niece Ellie Harmon.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents,  grandparents, and one great-niece.

Memorial services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home- Mount Vernon Chapel with Pastor Rick Sparks officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
