William Frances Donovan, 87, of Bailey Lakes, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Hospice of North Central Ohio, in Ashland.
William was born February 12, 1928 in New Eagle, PA to William and Anne {Hartman} Donovan.
He married June Eileen (Perry) who passed on July 12, 2005.
Bill graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in pharmacy. As a longtime resident of Colerain, Ohio, he worked at Super X Drugs in Martins Ferry and St. Clairsville as a pharmacist. He was a sailor at heart and captained Donovan's Reef for many years. Bill enjoyed tinkering with computers, debating politics, and watching Duke Basketball.
Bill will be deeply missed by sons William "Bill" Donovan Jr. of Mansfield and Joseph "Joe" (Billie Jo) Donovan of Pickerington; grandchildren Jayma Donovan, Joseph Jr. "Joe Joe" Donovan, Jeremiah Jordan "J.J." Donovan and William Joseph "B.J." Donovan.
Bill was preceded by his wife, June, of 49 years, brothers John, Paul and Joseph, and a sister Catherine.
