William "Bill" V. Marks, 72, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family, in Fredericksburg.
Friends may call Friday, January 3, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Stephen Moran officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Bill was born July 22, 1941 in Shreve, Ohio to Earl and Margaret {Burnett} Marks.
He married Constance "Connie" J. Hageman on October 12, 1963. She survives.
Bill worked for Rubbermaid in Wooster for 30 years and retired in 1997. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Bill enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife Connie of 50 years, children Jody (Karen Ziemke) Cutter of Wooster and Bradley (Terri) Marks of Rittman, grandson Zachary Cutter, step-grandchildren Laken, Tyler and Madison, sisters Mary Schaad and Fran Sweiger all of Wooster.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard, sisters Cecelia, Delores and Shirley.
