William "Bill" Monte Norris, 69, of Orrville, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at Pine Valley Care Center, in Richfield.
Friends may call Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.
Bill was born March 31, 1947 in Wadsworth to William and Dorothy {McKenzie} Norris.
He served in the United States Air Force.
He married Dorothy O'Connor on June 30, 1973.
Bill retired from Rosemont Analytical after 40 years. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Orrville. Bill enjoyed sudoku puzzles and being outside tending to his yard.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife Dorothy of 43 years; children Lisa Lambert of Doylestown, Pamela (John) Vogt of Florida and Kimberly Norris of Wooster; grandchildren Robert "Coy" Lambert, Mack and LeRoy Reed, Kaitlyn Stutler and Alexis Norris; five great-grandchildren; sister Patricia Gasser of Rocky River.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother Danny Norris.
