William "Bill" Alley

William “Bill” H. Alley, 86, of Wadsworth, died Monday, November 1, 2021, at University Hospitals, in Cleveland.

Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Decker officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Bill was born August 14, 1935, in Sagauche, Colorado to Henry M. and Martha M. {Mosher} Alley.

He lived in Colorado until he joined the U.S. Navy from 1954-1958 and retired from Packaging Corporation of America in Rittman after 38 years as a Security Guard.

He married Betty Davis on February 23, 1957. She died March 29, 2014.

Bill was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church and loved researching and teaching the word of God since 1959. He taught at five area churches through the years and the Haven of Rest in Akron on occasion. He enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, and playing golf.

Bill will be deeply missed by his son Daniel Alley of Lakemore; grandchildren Elizabeth (Joey) Fetzner, Seth (Dana) Alley, and Joseph, Anna, Sarah, and Caleb Alley all of Kansas City, MO; 3 great-grandchildren Cierra and Jackson Alley and Connor Fitzner; brothers Harold (Carol), Howard (Jo), Harvey (Carol), Harl (Marie) and Ronald Alley; sisters Phyllis (William) Croll and Donna Alley

Bill was preceded in death by his wife and son David.
