William “Bill” Edwin Morrison, 91, of Ashland, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at The Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Campus.
Bill was born November 4th, 1926 in Charleston, WV, the son of Lorraine and Viloris Morrison. He grew up in Ansted, WV and lived in the Florida Keys, Miami, FL, and Sandusky, OH, before settling in Ashland, Ohio in 1954 where he has resided for the past 64 years.
Bill served in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the USS New Orleans. He was a proud life member of the Ashland American Legion Post 88 and the VFW. At the legion, he enjoyed volunteering at the fish fries and bingo.

Bill enjoyed the outdoors (camping, fishing, and gardening), trips back to his roots in West Virginia, watching the Cleveland Indians, playing cards with friends, and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in sports. Bill was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ashland.
