Willie M. Morrison, 96, of Wooster, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Horn Nursing Center, in Wooster.
Services will be Monday at 2pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Ray Aspinall officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Willie was born March 29, 1917 in Buckhannon, WV to David and Rebecca A. {Cutright} Morrison Sr.
He served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Willie married Pearl Ammon on June 8, 1952. She died July 1, 2012.
He worked for PCA in Rittman for 36 years, retiring in 1982. He attended Smithville Brethren Church, and loved hunting, fishing, and camping.
Willie will be deeply missed by his sons William Morrison and Blaine Morrison both of Wooster; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister Louise Holt of Smithville.
Willie was preceded in death by his wife Pearl, siblings Grace Simons, Eula Robison, Retha Kampas, Evelena Wilcox, Birdie Beckner, Cecil, Roy, Carrol, Opha, Walter, and Albert Morrison.
