Yvonne Park

Yvonne Marie Park was born on July 22, 1929 in Woodsfield, OH to Hazel {Simmons} and Roy Cline.  She was raised in Woodsfield until the age of 10 when she relocated to Ashland, OH where she lived the rest of her life.  She was married on February 14, 1948 to William Glenard Park and together they had four children.  Yvonne worked as a Dutchmaid Clothing Party Consultant until her retirement in the 1980’s.  Yvonne was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles; Women's Auxiliary, and past president of her bowling league.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, her sister and brother-in-law, John and Jewell Camp, her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Donna Jean Cline, her son, Randy Park and granddaughter, Katie Jo Park.

Yvonne is survived by her three children, William (Janice) Park of Biloxi, MS; Karen Ann Park of Columbus, OH; James (Diane) Park of Ashland, OH.  Eight grandchildren, Heather (Keith) Keller, Angela (Clark) Geissmann, Jessica (Derek) Carlson, Eric Bowen, Michelle Fields, Chelsea (Daniel Bobb) Park, Jameson (Courtney) Park, and Jarrod (Sarah) Park.  She also had 11 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.  She is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law George (Donna Rae) Cline and several nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was a lifelong member of Savannah Presbyterian Church in Savannah, OH.  Services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at The Good Shepherd and Pathways Hospice as they assisted in making Yvonne’s final journey, one of dignity and respect. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice at 619 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, OH.
