William Shinnick

William G. Shinnick, 87, of Wooster, died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 am at the West Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating, where military rites will be held. Bill was born July 12, 1933 in Baltimore, MD to William F. and Ruth {Lastner} Shinnick.

He went to McDonogh Military Academy and then graduated from Johns Hopkins with a BA in Chemical Engineering. Bill served in the US Army.

He married Bonnie McCauley on April 15, 2009. She survives.

Bill worked for Sherwin Williams and then the DeVilbiss Company and he retired from Binks Manufacturing. He was a member of West Hill Baptist Church. Bill loved working on cars, golfing and watching WWII Documentaries with his buddy Will. He was a past NCAA Football Official.

Bill will be deeply missed by his wife; daughter Laura Nescola of Cleveland; grandsons Alex and A.J. Kowalski.

Bill was preceded in death by his first wife Irene.
