Alan Charles Martin, 39, of Galion, passed away Monday May 3,2010 at his residence.
Charlie was born January 25, 1971 in Bucyrus to A.C. and Darcus {Gayheart} Martin. Charlie was a Lineman with Ohio Edison. He enjoyed fishing and boating with his kids. He loved playing the guitar.
Charlie was a friend to everyone he met. Charlie will be deeply missed by his mother Darcus; his children; Nicholas Charles Martin and Charlie Sierra Martin, both of Ashland. Maternal Grandmother; Emila Gayheart, Brothers; Lee (Amber) Martin of Ontario and David (Shannon) Martin of Ashland. Numerous aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, A.C., paternal grandparents and a maternal grandmother.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at The Baptist Temple, 202 East Congress Street, Polk, Ohio. Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Baptist Temple. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. Memorial contributions may be left at the church.
