Allen D. Johnson, 26, of Tucson, AZ died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from injuries sustained when he was struck by a pick-up truck while riding his bicycle.
Private services will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Robert Fetterhoff and Pastor Mark Saunders officiating.Burial will be at Smithville Cemetery.Online tributes may be made at

Allen was born October 28, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas to Christopher F. Johnson and Karla {Moses} Johnson.He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from The Ohio State University and received Emergency Medical Training Certification from Sinclair Community College in 2004.After his graduation Allen served as an EMT in Phoenix, AZ, for one year.
In September 2005 Allen joined the Tucson Police Department where he served with honor as a police officer, receiving several commendations for his work. Allen loved the outdoors. He enjoyed running, backpacking and bicycling.He had completed several Century bike rides, riding 100 miles.
Allen will be deeply missed by his father and mother, both of Troy, OH; brothers Bradley Johnson of Berkeley, CA, and Gregory Johnson of Troy, OH; and by his grandparents Bill and Esther Moses of Wooster, OH.
