He was born July 23, 1926 in Cleveland to Mike and Mary (Guba) Krupar.
Andy served in World War II in the United States Navy.After the war, he attended the University of Wisconsin and John Carroll University in Cleveland.He worked at Precision Fittings as an accountant, retiring in 2003 after 45 years.It was there that he met his wife Martha (nee Sparks).They were married October 15, 1966.He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New London.Andy loved to garden and collect coins and stamps. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble every evening.He loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his loving wife of 44 years, he will be deeply missed by his children: Andrea (Matt) Beach, Jennifer (Larry) Gilbert, and Michael (Jennifer) Krupar, grandchildren: Andrew, Aaron and John Beach, Evelyn, Samuel and Corbin Krupar, sister:Veronica Irelan, brothers: Steve (Theresa), Martin (Juanita) and Richard (Rosemary) Krupar: and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by brothers: Michael, John, and Joseph, and sisters: Helen, Mary and Ann, and three infant grandsons.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11:00 am at Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Rte 250, Ashland, with his nephew, Deacon Ed Irelan officiating.Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park, where military rites will be held by the Ashland Veterans Honor Guard.Friends may call Monday, June 6, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
