Arthur D. Horner, 75, of Cinnamon Lake, died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Wooster Community Hospital. ?Services will be Thursday at 11am at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with the Rev. Ben Roby officiating. ?Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster where military rites will be held.

Arthur was born March 9, 1932 in Hitchins, KY to Frank and Maude {Terry} Horner. ?He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Following the war, Arthur married Helen Ann Cross on March 12, 1953. ?He was a Stationary Engineer for the State of Ohio for many years. ?He was a member of Ebenezer Masonic Lodge #33, Wooster and VFW Post 3494 Mansfield.
Arthur loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Arthur will be deeply missed by his wife; children Michael Horner of Wooster and Susan (Kenneth) Steele of Cinnamon Lake; grandchildren Michael Heimbuch, Brody Horner, Jamie, Jennifer, and Michael Tippens; his brother Roy (Loretta) Horner of Columbus; and sisters Audrey (Harold) Fergason of Ft. Walton, FL, Zona (John) George of Dayton, Alta (Ed) Collins of Portsmouth, and Cora James of South Shore, KY; and his dog Teller.
Arthur was preceded in death by his sister Ida.
