Bernadette Light

Bernadette Lucille Light, 77, of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday, December 12, at Doylestown Health Care Center. She was born January 16, 1933 in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Bertha (Blazer) Huhn. She married James Light on October 24, 1959. Bernadette was a homemaker and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting quilts, traveling, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.



In addition to her husband, James, of 51 years, Bernadette will be deeply missed by her children Jimmy (Sara) Light of Newark, Tommy (Lisa) Lght of Rittman, Kenny (Holly) Light of West Salem and Becky (Mark) Blackburn of Wadsworth, grandchildren Joey, Heather, Allie, Jamie and Andrea Light. Kendra, Devan, J.D. and Morgan Blackburn, great-grandchildren Dannika and Carmin Blackburn, brother Ronald (JoAnn) Huhn of CA, sister Pauline Ivy of Fairlawn. Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents.



Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Steve Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
