Bertha I. Tresh Swauger, 77, of Ashland, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. Bertha was born June 30, 1931 in, Greenwich, Ohio the daughter of Emory A. and Valetta Cramer Tresh. Bertha was a loving wife and homemaker. Bertha was a member of Glassport Assemble of God; she was in charge of the Mission Ettes program for the Church. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and other crafts.
Bertha will be deeply missed by her brothers Kenneth (Pam) Tresh of Ashland, Robert Tresh and sister Linda Brunet of Mansfield, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by first husband Phillip Augustine on August 28, 1989 and Raymond Swauger on February 6, 2001 a sister Shirley Tresh and Bonnie Heckman.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home – Ashland Chapel, 1058 US 250 N, Ashland, with Rev. Julie Thoms officiating.
