Betty Hartman

Betty Ann Hartman, 68, of Ashland, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland. ?She was born August 20, 1938 in Weslaco, Texas, the daughter of Roy and Lillian (Faulkner) Harris who preceded her in death. ?She married James Hartman on July 17, 1970. ?He preceded her in death in 2006. ?Betty worked at Abbot, was a life member of the VFW Post 1067 Auxiliary, and a member of the Am Vets Post 96 Auxiliary. ?She enjoyed being with all her grandchildren. ?Betty will be deeply missed by her two daughters and son-in-law Nancy (George) Severnak of New York, Jody Martin of Columbus; son William Hartman of Nankin; grandchildren Perry "PJ" Coffman, Mandy Motter, Tracy Young, Richard, Christopher and Erin Jolicoeur, Rita and Phil Apap; great-grandchildren Exavior Coffman, Jessica Sours, Damion Hunt, Lillian Motter, Maddison and Anthony Apap; sisters Patsy Harris of Lodi and Jane Shoenberger of Ashland; and mother-in-law Elizabeth Gretchen Hartman Smith of Ashland. ?Along with her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father, and one great-grandchild Christopher Motter. ?Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, at Roberts Funeral Home in Ashland at 11:00 a.m. ?Burial will be held at Ashland Co. Memorial Park following the service. ?Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. ?Contributions may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
