Betty Welch

Betty Lou Welch, 73, of Wadsworth Township, passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 at Altercare in Wadsworth. She was born December 27, 1936 in Fairview, Alabama to Claude and Tessie (Allen) Bailey. She married Bernard Welch on January 14, 1959, and he survives. Betty enjoyed flowers, gardening, her southern cooking and walking. She also enjoyed company and spending time with her friends and family.



Betty will be deeply missed by her husband Bernard, children Doug (Christina) Welch of Sharon Center, Kenny Welch of Wadsworth, and Pam (Mark) Bebout of Wadsworth, grandchildren Josh, Autumn, and Travis Welch and Adriana Bebout, great-grandchildren Haley and P.J. (Little Guy) Welch, sisters Eva Bailey of Alabama, Iree Evans of Brunswick, Lena Shondrick of Chippewa and her friends at Wadsworth Bob Evans. Betty was preceded in death by her granddaughters Megan Welch and Melissa Bebout, and two brothers Calvin and John Bailey.



Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville, with Pastor Steve Carter officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
