Beulah M. Phillips, 78, of Orrville died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at her residence with her family by her side.Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Beulah was born May 21, 1931 in Green Township to David J. and Icie E. {King} Zook.She married Carlos L. Phillips on November 12, 1951, he survives.
She worked for the J.M. Smucker Company for 15 years, then for Apple Creek Develpmental Center for 22 years, retiring in 1996.
Beulah enjoyed gardening, travel, and trips to Myrtle Beach with family, watching her children,grandchildren, and great grandchildren in all the sporting events she could attend.Beulah would often be seen at many of the Waynedale High School events as she was a huge Golden Bear Fan.
In addition to her husband, Beulah will be deeply missed by her children Betty “Lou” (Ron) DelPropost of Wooster, Carl (Trish) Phillips of Dalton, Rick (Deborah) Phillips of Wooster, John Phillips of Dalton, Peggy (Dan) Moore of Wooster, Connie (Ralph) Hinerman of Dalton, Roger Phillips of Apple Creek, and Deborah (Jason) Carpenter of Dalton; 12 grandchildren;
7 great-grandchildren; and a sister Helen McConahay of Orrville.
Beulah was preceded in death by sister Esther Zook and brothers Howard and Edwin Zook.
