Billy L. Oliphant, 78, of Wooster, died June 30, 2010 at Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.

Billy was born September 17, 1931 in Greenfield, Iowa to John and Lela (Hickcox) Oliphant.He married Ethel Grauf on September 8, 1951. She survives.
He was an accountant for Allied Chemical, and a realtor for Hal Franks. He loved sports, playing golf and loved to visit and spend time with his family.
Billy will be deeply missed by his wife Ethel and children Laura (Jack) DeBorde of Kentuckyand Randall (Susan) Oliphant of Missouri, grandchildren Stacy and Andrew DeBorde of Kentucky and Steven, Scott and Hanna Oliphant of Missouri, great-grandson Michael Oliphant, brothers Robert, Dale and Paul Oliphant all of Iowa, Everett Oliphant of Kentucky and John Oliphant of California.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Ellie Boyer and a brother Wayne Oliphant.
