Byrul F. Ball, of Smithville died Wednesday, November 17, 2009 on his 81
st
birthday at Smithville Western Care Center.
Services will be Saturday at 11:00am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Bradley Dews officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Byrul was born November 17, 1928 in Wayne County, WV to Kelly and Rosella (Bradshaw)
Ball.
He married Mary Louise Markley on July 21, 1958.
She died August 28, 1997.
He was a member of the Orrville Baptist Church.
Byrul enjoyed fishing, bowling, hunting, bingo and the Cleveland Indians.
Byrul loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Byrul will be deeply missed by children Edward (Jean) Ball of Greer, Leonard (Paula) Ball of Shreve, Jim (Kim) Ball of Smithville, son-in-law Joe Smith of Louisville, grandchildren Mindy (Ernie) Henry, Logan Smith, Amanda (Tony) Massoni, Jessie Shanklin, Cory Ball, Eric (Carrie) Ball, and Kristen (Shaun) Voiles, 8 great-grandchildren, brother Paul (Cheryl) Ball of Nassau, NY and sister Margaret (Homer) Robinette of Moreland and special friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Natalie Smith, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, brothers and sisters.
Byrul’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
