C. Virgil Roth, 88, of Doylestown died Monday, April 6, 2008 at his residence.Friends may callThursday from 5:00pm to 8:pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster and one hour prior to the service on Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home with ministers Robert Barcroft and Jim Mowder officiating.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Virgil was born May 26, 1920 in Woodsfield to Ettson Guy and Arlie (Drum) Roth. He married Audrey V. Lengacher on June 14, 1941.
He was a farmer and worked for Zollinger Sand & Gravel for 18 years.He loved to hunt and fish.He was a member of the Church of Christ in Wadsworth.
Virgil will be deeply missed by his wife Audrey and children Dale Roth of Doylestown, Keith (Nancy) Roth of Holmesville, Donna Roth of Charlotte, North Carolina and Alvin (Vickey) Roth of Marshallville, grandchildren Cheryl, Jenny, Kyle, Tonya, Cory and Rachael, great-grandchildren, Kendra, Cameron, Bryce, Brandon, Ryan, Paige and Cara, brothers Lloyd (Loretta) of Marietta, Ohio, Leland (Norma) of Westerville, Ohio and Kenneth (Martha) of Woodsfield, Ohio.
Virgil was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ralph and Paul Roth.
