Carl Neuman

Carl J. Neuman, 88, of Wooster died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Horn Nursing Center.Services will be Monday at 11am at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster where military rites will be held.

Carl was born July 12, 1921 in Cleveland to Ludwig and Olga Neuman.He served in the US Army during WWII and married Mary Cvanciger on February 14, 1942.Carl worked for the Ford Motor Company as a pipefitter in Brook Park for 30 years.Following his retirement, he and Mary moved to Arizona for several years before returning to Wooster.He enjoyed collecting Lionel Trains.

Carl will be deeply missed by his wife Mary, childen Paul (Nancy) Neuman of Ocala, FL, Jim (Rose) Neuman of Seven Hills, Lenny (Sandy) of Medina, Linda Flory of Creston, Andy (Mary Lee) of Columbus, and Chuckie (Mary) of Missouri; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
