Carl F. Pirman, 86, of Wadsworth, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. Services will be Friday, October 19 at 11:30 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with military honors. Friends may visit with the family Thursday, October 18 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
He was born September 1, 1921 in Rittman to John and Rose (Bosic) Pirman. ?Carl married Darline Brogan on October 25, 1946. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. Carl had been an engineer at The Babcock and Wilcox Company and retired after 43 years service. He attended Emauael Church of Christ (High Church), and was a member of the Moose, Elks, VFW and Slovene Club. He enjoyed painting landscapes, golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife Darline, daughters Carla (Joel) Benoit of Lawrence, Ky., and Kelli (Jim) Ingersoll of Wadsworth, grandchildren Sean and Ian Benoit and Emily Ingersoll and brother Richard Pirman of Wadsworth and five great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and brothers John and Edward Pirman.
