Carol Kantenwein

December 27, 1964 — January 22, 2012

Carol Kantenwein, 47, of Wooster, went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 22, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home with her family by her side.



Carol was born October 27, 1964 in Wooster to Wayne and Elva {Yoder} Firebaugh. She graduated from Triway High School and from Grace College.



She married Scott Kantenwein on June 11, 1988. He survives.



Carol was a homemaker where she also taught piano. She was an active member of the Wooster Grace Brethren Church where she played the piano. Carol was an advisor for the West End Rowdy ‘Ranglers Club. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family.



Carol will be deeply missed by her husband Scott; daughters Joy, Jenae, and Jessica; twin-sister Betty (Mark) Steiner of Apple Creek, brothers George (Deb) Firebaugh and Harold (Elaine) Firebaugh all of Wooster, sister Sharon (Roy) McDaniel of Homerville.



Carol was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Vanessa Firebaugh.



Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Thursday at 11 am at the Wooster Grace Brethren Church with Pastor Steve Kern officiating. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
