Cecil Murphy

Cecil E. Murphy, 88 of Wooster, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Wooster Community Hospital.Services will be Saturday at 2:00PM at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Rev. Melvin Browning officiating.Friends may call Friday from 6pm to 8pm and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cecil was born June 11, 1920 in Maysel, West Virginia to French and Ida (Graham) Murphy.

He married Barbara Durden on December 2, 1944.She survives.

He will be deeply missed by his wife and children Cecil R. “Bud” Murphy and Richard L. and Connie Murphy both of Wooster, and Debra Murphy-Kesling of Norton, grandchildren Lorie Paratto, Wendy Yungen, Stephen and Nathan Murphy , Jessica and Gerrad Kesling, Brianna “B.J.” Moore, great-grandchildren Kevin Calame, Joshua Wilson, Alex Murphy, Kealey and McKenna Moore, Kaetlyn Paratto, Reiley Murphy and Cohl Yungen, brothers Ray (Jewell), Delbert, Bonny (Orleana), Dallas (Mabel) Murphy, sisters Edith (Linn) Booth, Becky (John) Summers.Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and a granddaughter.
