Charles Bailey

Charles (Chico) Bailey, 69, of Rittman, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011at Autumnwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Rittman after a long illness. He was born January 15, 1942 in Lorado, WV to Herbert and Fanny (Aldridge) Bailey. Chico was employed at Morton Salt in Rittman for over 30 years. He was a fan of baseball and football and coached softball for Rittman. He attended Rittman High School football games until his illness prevented him fom doing so.



He leaves behind his wife Anna Lee (Baker) Bailey, children Charles (Penny) Bailey of Marble Head, Rachel (Chuck) Carpenter of Rittman, 4 grandchildren Nathan, Laci, Melissa and Chucky, brothers, Ronnie (Mary) Bailey of Newark, Curtis (Jane) Bailey of Kentucky and sisters Ruth Grimnett and Joyce Browning both of Man, WV. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Bailey and several other brothers and sisters.



Services will be Monday, March 21 at 11:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Larry Keener officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
