Charles “Chuck” Clifford Burrows, 73 of Ashland, died Sunday August 23,2009 at Good Sheppard Nursing Home in Ashland. Chuck was born November 16,1935 in Cleveland to Albert and Frances Forester Burrows. He married Estelle Wolf on January 13, 1956. Chuck was Past Commander of the VFW 1067, Chapter Commander of DAV 81, Past Commander of American Legion 88, and Past Ashland County Commander of the Joint Veterans, and a member of the American Legion Riders, AMVETS 149 and the Ashland Eagles Club. Chuck served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Estelle, sons Charles J. (Linda) of Spencer and Albert”AL” (Cheryl) of New Mexico, Daniel (Cheryl) of Columbus, daughters Joyce (Roger) Wolfe of Ashland, Rosemarie Ballow of Dalton, and Eva (Edward) Zawadski of Medina,12 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren, his brother Albert William Burrows of Cleveland and sister Lillian Simek of Col Springs, Col. Chuck was preceded in death by his Parents.

Graveside service for Chuck will be Friday August 28,2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashland County Memorial Park, 1058 U.S. 250 West, Ashland, with Rev. Julie Thoms officiating. The Joint Veterans Organization will conduct military rights. Inurnment will follow Online tributes may be made at
