Charlie was born July 29, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Clyde and Barbara (Schreiben) Vaughn.
He married Lenore Watson Esterline on December 9, 1961.
Charlie worked in the construction industry for 47 years.He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for 25 years.Charlie was a member of the Eagles and AMVets 149 of Wiggletown.He enjoyed his motorcycle, bowling, and fishing.
Charlie will be deeply missed by his wife of 48 years, step-children; Kathryn L. Raber of McAlester, OK and David A. Esterline of Polk, step-grandchildren; Alan D. Esterline, Samantha K. Esterline and 3 step grand daughters, 9 step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Charlie was preceded in death by his brothers; Clyde C. Vaughn and Robert Vaughn, and a nephew Corbin Vaughn.
Graveside services will be Friday at 12:00 pm will be at Ashland County Memorial Park, 1058 US Rte 250 Ashland, with the Rev. John Bouqet officiating. Friends may call Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Online tributes may be made at
