Chester “Chet” Uhler, 82, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Hernando Pasco Hospice in New Port Richey, Florida.A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel.Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.Online tributes may be made at

Chester was born May 25, 1927 in Chester township to Karl and Ida{ Imhoff } Uhler .He married Sheila Humphrey on July 4, 1948.
He worked for the dairy industry for 42 years and retired from Smith Dairy in 1989.He served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed bowling, watching various sports teams, and traveling throughout the United States. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and was very involved with his family.
Chester will be deeply missed by his wife, children Gary (Linda) Uhler of Alexandria, Ron (Miriam) Uhler of Wooster, Tom Uhler of Wooster; grandchildren, Micheal(Andrea), Brian, Christopher, Hailey , Chad(Amanda), Brandon, Ryan(Andrea), Jade, and Kira Uhler; great-grandchildren, Emily, Maddy, Nathan Uhler, and Libby Pittman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Michael Uhler, and brother Raymond Uhler.
