Claude Prather, 76, of Doylestown was ushered from this life on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Autumnwood Nursing Facility in Rittman to his Father’s home in heaven. Services will be Monday, July 26, 2010 at 12:30pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville with Pastor Perry Elkins officiating. Burial will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com

Claude was born December 24, 1933 in Akron, Ohio to Harley O. and Osa J. (Riddle) Prather. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War.
Claude was an owner operator long distance truck driver.He was a member of Christlife Fellowship.
He will be missed by his brothers Richard (Nancy) and Donald, sisters Burtie Lou Prather and Dorothy (Gerald) Orians, all of Akron and Dolores Myer of Belton, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Paul and Theresa Kruft and their children, Susan Elzholz and family and his two special dogs, Riley and Kiely.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
