Mills, 96, of Wooster, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the Wooster Community Hospital. ?Services will be Wednesday at 11am at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with the Evangelist Daniel Ruegg officiating. ??Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Cuba was born April 2, 1911 in Norfork, Arkansas to Walter P. and Mary Ellen {Martin} Raymond. ?She married John Trunk on Nov. 15, 1930. ?She then married Carl B. Mills.
Cuba worked for Isaleys Dairy for 9 years. ?She then worked for International Paper for 20 years retiring in 1974. ?She was a member of the Church of Christ Burbank Rd., the Eagles and Moose lodge. ?Cuba enjoyed traveling and working in her garden. ?She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians.
Cuba will be deeply missed by her daughter Barbara A. (Charles) Berry of Wooster; grandchildren Steven Trunk, Michael Nussbaum & Sandra Wilson, Jeffrey (Hope) Nussbaum, Sherrie (Daniel) Rettig, and Judy Nussbaum & Scott Baker; ?14 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Cuba was preceded in death by sons Clifford D. Trunk and ?Kenneth D. Trunk; step son Richard B. Mills; siblings Earnest Raymond, Jessie Trimble, C. Howard Raymond, and Lovie Beichler.
