Cynthia A. Specht, 76, of Wooster, died Sunday May 17, 2009 at her residence in Wooster. The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship and remembrance on today from 4-7 p.m.at the home of Cynthia and Jack, 720 E. Highland Ave, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Cynthia was born October 16, 1932, in Wooster, Ohio to Overton and Dorothy Jane (Shoaff) Cahill. She attended the College of Wooster.
She married Jack Specht on March 15, 1953.Cynthia was a homemaker and attended Trinity United Church of Christ. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with family.
Cynthia will be deeply missed by her husband; children Douglas (Debbie) Specht of Orrville, Amy (Jeff) Breneman of Shreve, and Polly (Dave) Kreiling of Wooster; grandchildren Angela (Chris) Keith, Jason (Rena) Specht, J.D. and Jamie Breneman, and Michael Kreiling; sister Melinda (Bob) Rettig of Prosperity, South Carolina; and her cat Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Susan Rood.
A private graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel is handling the arrangements.Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
