Dale "Coop" Edward Cooper, 65, of Wooster died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at The Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland. ?Services will be Thursday at 3:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Dr. Thomas Shaw officiating. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Dale was born December 27, 1942 in Ashland to William H. and Effie (Gilbert) Cooper. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1962. He was employed at Borg-Warner/Rex-Roth retiring in 1999 after 37 years of service. He was a union steward for local U.A.W. 1239. ?Dale belonged to the Model T Club while he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, water-skiing, and his pets.
Surviving are his mother Effie, brothers Howard (Karen) Cooper of Millersburg, Dean (Tess) Cooper of Wooster, a sister-in-law Dixie Cooper of Ashland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his father Bill and his brother Gene.
