Daniel R. Wilson, of Shreve, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Abaco Health Care Facility in Columbus.
Graveside services were held Tuesday August 31, 2010 at 11 AM at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel with Rev. O.J. Thompson officiating.Entombment followed the service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites were held.

He was born June 18, 1947 in Wooster OH, to Richard Wilson and Athaleen Cowell. Daniel married Virginia Wilson on March 7, 1987.
He enjoyed carpentry, painting and camping. He served as a Marine in the Vietnam war.
Daniel will be deeply missed by his daughters, Jessica Wilson-Barrowcliffe of Columbus and Cassie Wilson of Cleveland. Brothers Roger Ross and Sammy Lee Lewis. Sister Geraldine Mazza-White.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, parents and grandparents to whom he was very close.
