Darwon L. Young, 59, of Wooster, died Friday September 16, 2011 at his residence.

Dar was born April 2, 1952 in Wooster, Ohio to Franklin D. and Wanda F. (Hopper) Young.
He graduated from Triway High School in 1970. He married Debra Baker on July 23, 1988. She survives.
Dar worked at Magni-Power Company in various positions and ending as the Assistant Safety Director.
He enjoyed reading, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
Dar will be deeply missed by his wife Debbie; children Lee, Katherine (Aaron Miller) and Jason Young; 1 grandson Austin Martin; sister Brenda (Alan) Brierly; nieces April Williams (Marquist Herndon), Nena Brierly, and Amanda Brierly; a great-nephew Pharaoh and a great-niece Phoebe.
Dar was preceded in death by his parents.
