David Edward Henthorn, 59, of rural Ashland passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at his home.
Mr. Henthorn was born July 14, 1946 in Ashland, the son of Carl E. and Evelyn Mae (Long) Henthorn. He married Debbie Campbell on February 16, 1990. She survives.
He worked for the F.E. Myers Company. ?He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed camping, and being with his two little girls.
He is survived by his wife Debbie, sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Kristin Henthorn, of Mansfield, Mike and Rachel Henthorn of Ashland, John and Liz Rogers of Ashland, Joey and Lisa Rogers, of Canton, daughters and sons-in-law: Melisa and Jason Ruby of Ashland, Theresa and Terry Fike, of Ashland, Haley and Alyssa Henthorn, at home, and nine grandchildren. ?Also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law: Kenny Henthorn of Alliance, Rodney and Debbie Henthorn of Savannah, OH, Richard Henthorn of Ashland, Bruce Henthorn of Bailey Lakes, OH, and Kim and Barbara Henthorn of Ashland. ?
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, son James Henthorn, and sisters, Donna Sitters and Shirley Gilbert.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel, 1058 U.S. 250 W, Ashland, with Pastor Paul Atkinson officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
