David was born on June 23, 1919 to Jacob and Elizabeth (Lanzeniechner) Schad.
On August 4, 1950, he married Ruth Neuman.He was self employed as a carpenter.He attended Vineyard Church of Delaware County in Sunbury.David enjoyed fishing, reading the bible and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
David will be deeply missed by his wife, his eight children, seventeen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and brothers, Jacob Schad and Harold Schad.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Graveside services will be at 1pm, Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Ashland County Memorial Park with his sons David M. and John Schad officiating.Friends may call Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Rte 250 N.
