Delmar D. Bucklew, 81, of Wooster died Tuesday, April 01, 2008 at his residence. ?A celebration of life service for Delmar and his wife Faye, who died March 20, 2008, will be Friday at 11:00am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. ?Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. ?Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens where military rites will be held. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?

Delmar was born September 3, 1926 in Millersburg to John and Eliza (Meier) Bucklew. ?He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. ?He married Faye Gindlesberger on May 15, 1946.

He worked for the Timken Company for 30 years retiring in 1981. ?He then moved to Arizona, returning to Wooster in 1995. ?He was a member of Ebenezer Lodge #33 and the Shrine. ?He enjoyed playing poker, watching the Cavs and Indians and spending time with his family.

Delmar will be deeply missed by daughter Sandy (Mark) Bregman of Scottsdale, Arizona, granddaughters, Dahni (Rick) Reynolds of Wooster and Anya Bregman of Flagstaff, Arizona; and great-grandchildren, Nicole, Jake, Asheton, Dusstyn and Delmar Reynolds, brother-in-law Dwight Casey of Wooster and sister-in-law Margaret Bucklew of Killbuck.

Delmar was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Faye, a brother Raymond Bucklew and six half-brothers and sisters.
