Dollie Mae Adkins, 87, of Wadsworth, died November 11, 2011 at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital, in Wadsworth, Ohio.



Friends may call Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday November15, 2011 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev Tom Ledford Officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Dollie was born March 3, 1924 in Akron, Ohio to Winifred C. and Bessie B. {Hysell} Williams. She married Ray Adkins on November 14, 1942.



Dollie was employed by Norwayne Schools as a cook and later on worked for International Paper in Wooster. Was a member of The Orrville Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grand children. She also enjoyed reading her bible. She liked crocheting and cooking.



Dollie will be deeply missed by her 5 sons and 2 daughter - in- laws; Steven (Robin) Of Charleston TN, Bruce E. Of Fredericksburg OH, Kenneth D. Natchitoches LA, John (Nancy) Of Madison IN, Jerry L. Portland OR ;11 grandchildren ; 24 great-grandchildren ; sisters Edith Kurtz, Eleanor (Chuck) Samic.



Dollie was preceded in death by her husband Ray, her son William, 2 grand children Carla and Tony, a brother William and a sister Jane.
