Donald Napier

Donald Ray "Slim" Napier, 72, of Rittman, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at his home. Don was born May 18, 1934 in Chattaroy, West Virginia to Brady and Blanche (Thompson) Napier. He married Verdie Owsley on June 15, 1989. He retired from PCA after 27 years of service, was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Don will be deeply missed by his wife Verdie, his mother Blanche, children Suzan (Willie) Musser of Rittman, Doug Napier of Wooster, step daughters Linda (John) Jestel of Wooster, Lori (Gary) Decker of Smithville, grandchildren Meghann and Peige Musser, step grandchildren Tara Trogdon and Cody Decker, brothers Bill and Bobby (Gladys) Napier of Burbank, and his dog Stormy. He was preceded in death by his father, daughter Donna Marks and brothers Robert and Richard.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Mike Decker officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
