Donna Battig

Donna Lou Battig, 84, of Wooster died Sunday January 22, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side.
Memorial services will be held Thursday at 2pm at Roberts Funeral Home- Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
Donna was born August 3, 1927, in Wooster to Robert and Gertrude {Boldman} Pfouts. She married Deloine Prost May 13, 1946 and Edward Battig February 14, 1967.
Donna was an employee of Rubbermaid, Regalware, and was retired from Wayne County Care Center. She attended the church of the Savior and enjoyed gardening, reading, word puzzles, and taking care of her dogs Brandy and Kiddo. She was an avid animal lover.
Donna will be deeply missed by her children Penny (Bob) Sprang, Timothy Ray Prost of Smithville, and Edward Battig II of Smithville; her grandchildren Bobby Jean Lint, Terry Prost, Dustin Prost, David Prost, Kaylee Stahl, and Eddie Battig III; her great-grandchildren Gaige Sprang andPaige Sprang, her great-great-grandchild Karlee Lou; and numerous step-children, nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her husbands Deloine Prost and Edward Battig, sisters Phyllis Troutman and Shirley Butler, brother Daryl Pfouts, and sons Dewey and Dean Prost.
