Doyle Williamson

He was born June 1, 1938 in Farmington, IL, to Doyle R andBernisce {Bollinger} Williamson.

His first wife, Matilda Winchell (Tillie) had two childrenDouglas Dewayne (Mary) Williamson of Bloomington, IL and KathyLynn Martin of Canton, IL; 7 grandchildren; and 9great-grandchildren.

His second wife, Wilma Higgs, two children; Connie Renee(Joe) Carafelli of Canton, OH and Doyle Lee Williamson ofCincinnati, OH; three step children; David Jewel(Honoré) Strader of Wooster, Teressa Lynne Geitgey ofNew Philadelphia, OH and Robin Gale (Scott) Sampson ofClayton, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

His third wife Carol J. (Grace) Saffell, 3 stepchildren; Brenda Lea Saffell of Wooster, Donald JohnSaffell of Leavittsburg, and Terry Everett (Pam) Saffell ofMillersburg.

Also surviving is his sister Maxine Bucher ofAstoria, IL and a brother Michael “Mick”(Wilma) Williamson of Milan, IL.

Doyle worked at Campbell Construction. He enjoyedfishing, hunting, camping, and playing cards. Heespecially enjoyed spending time in his garage with hisfamily and friends. His family and friends and his dogMitzie will sadly miss Doyle.

There will be no services, as Doyle will becremated. Memorial contributions may be made toHospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County,2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; agrandchild Brandon Geitgey, sister Marilyn Fosdyck,and a brother Gary Williamson, and ex-wife Matilda.
