Duff “Duffy” H. Patterson, 87, of Ashland, died May 12, 2011 at his residence.
He was born January 22, 1924 in Ashland to Donald W. and Myrtle I. (Welty) Patterson.He served in the United States Army during World War II.He received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
On July 21, 1956, he married Helen “Lucille” Patterson who preceded him in death in 2010.

United Methodist Church, Ashland Elks and DAV.He worked for Fisher Printing, Garber Co. and Bookmasters.
He will be deeply missed by his children; Duff Patterson II of Powell, Linda Patterson of Ashland,a grandchild, Griffin Patterson, and brothers; Gilman, William and Richard Patterson.
Duff was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers, Bob and Tom Patterson.
A memorial service will be Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel, 1058 US Rte 250, with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating.
