Edith V. Sparr, 72, of Wooster died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at her residence.Friends may call Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.Services will be Friday at 1:30pm at the funeral home with Rev. Edith was born December 11, 1935 in Wayne County to Oscar and Mabel (VanZile) Carr.She graduated from Ashland High School in 1955.She married Francis C. Sparr on May 25, 1958.

She was a homemaker and attended the Shreve United Methodist Church.Edith enjoyed traveling to Canada, the outdoors and fishing.

Edith will be deeply missed by her husband Francis, children Gary (Kathleen) of Wooster, Larry (Christy) of Ashland and Diana (Edward) Gard of Shreve, grandchildren Mike, Nikki, Brittany and Savannah Sparr and Crystal Mechling, a brother Edward (Beth) Carr of Ashland and a sister Jane (Clarence) Sparr of Wooster.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Carr and granddaughter Erin Sparr.
