Effie P. Cooper, 97, of Wooster, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home in Millersburg.Services will be Friday at noon at Roberts Funeral Home-SherwoodChapel, Wooster with the Pastor Ermon French officiating.Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.Friends may call from 10am to12noonat the funeral home.Online tributes may be made at

Effie was born May 28, 1913 in Edmone, Michigan to Fredrick and Lelia (Fennal) Gilbert and married William (Bill) H. Cooper.He preceded her in death on March 25, 1975.
She lived most of her life in Ashland and Wayne counties and was a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Howard (Karen) of Millersburg and Dean (Tessie) of Wooster, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Eugene (Gene) and Dale.
