Elise Jacot Bosler, 92, of West Salem, died Saturday, December 09, 2006 at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster.
Services will be Wednesday at 11am at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with the Pastor Dave Kinkel officiating. ?Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. ?Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home. She was born March 23, 1914 in Bath to Louis and Rose {Rising} Jacot. ?She married Edward Bosler on March 18, 1938. He died in 1985.
She worked on the farm with her husband until 1961 and then worked at The Wooster Inn for over 20 years. ??She was a member and volunteer of the Creston Presbyterian Church. ?She was a life member of the Wayne Co. Saddle Club, and a member of the Canaan Grange. ?She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include children Suzanne (Richard) Gortner of West Salem, Stan (Charlene) Bosler of Polk; nine grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, sisters Opal Nesbitt, Robye Jacot, and brothers Paul, Milton, and Daniel Jacot died previously.
