Emogene Holcomb

Emogene Holcomb, 78, of Sterling, died Wednesday October 19, 2011 at her residence.



Funeral services will be Saturday 2 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Mark Ryder officiating. Friends may call Friday 5-7.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd. Wooster, OH44691



Emogene was born December 3, 1932in Oka, West Virginia to J Andrew and Nellie {Cottrel} Ohse. She married Charles Holcomb in 1950 in Bickmore, West Virginia. Emogene worked at Regalware for 25 years and attended the Evangel Assembly of God church .



Emogene will be deeply missed by her children; Terry (Shirley Smith) Holcomb of Lakeville, Patricia (Roger) Lance of Sterling, and Bobby Holcomb of Shreve, sister Berlyn Soful of Victorville, CA; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great- grandson; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.



Emogene was preceded in death by her parents, Sisters Mary, Maxine, May, and Mildred; and brothers Jessie, Everett, and Cecil, granddaughter Kimberly.
