Eva E. Bucy, 83, of Apple Creek, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at West View Manor Nursing Home in Wooster.Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Jeremy Stasiowski officiating. Eva was born in Holmes county, December 29, 1926 to Benjamin and Mrytle {Patterson}Smail.She married Calvin W. Bucy on June 30, 1945.He passed away October 14, 2000.
Eva worked at Castle Nursing home in Millersburg. She also worked at Apple Creek Development center.Eva later worked at Value Center before it turned into Mr. Wiggs, she retired from there to care for Calvin. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and canning fruits and vegetables.
Eva will be deeply missed by her children; Howard (Cary) Bucy of Strausburg, Cliff (Sara) Bucy of Wooster, Shirley Bucy of Apple Creek; 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Eva was preceded in death by her son Calvin, daughter in law Cindy Bucy, great-granddaughter Celeste Brown, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
