Evelyn Braucher, 92, of Wooster, died Tuesday, October 04, 2011 at Wayne County Care Center, in Wooster.
Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.Funeral services will be Friday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Evelyn was born November 16, 1918 in Elyria, Ohio to Harold E. and Hazel {Haunstein} Hoff.
She married Harold Braucher on September 7, 1946.
Evelyn worked for the Market Street Grill and was a poll worker for the Wayne County Board of elections for over 50 years. She was a member of the Wooster Womens Bowling Association, a member of the Wooster Womens American Legion auxiliary, and a member of the Orrville Railroad Heritage Society. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Evelyn will be deeply missed by brother-in-law Bill (Sue) Braucher; nephew Howard Wade; great nieces and great nephews Anna Davidson, Tom Wade, Dan Lepley, Pam Lepley, Paula Shaw; and great great nephews Ross and John Robart, as well as many other friends and family.
Her husband preceded Evelyn in death.
