Evelyn Fry, 83, of Wooster, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Horn Nursing Center in Wooster. ?
Services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with the Rev. Dean Hammond officiating.
Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born June 30, 1924 in Apple Creek to Warren and Helen {Coddington} Messner. ?She married Allen Fry. ?He died in 1987.
Evelyn worked in the housekeeping department at the College of Wooster for 20 years, retiring in 1986. Evelyn enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians.
She will be deeply missed by her children Leonard Fry and BonnieHelter both of Wooster, Debra Pittman of Sterling; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and sisters Ethel Shankland and Clarabelle Musselman both of Wooster.
In addition to her husband, Evelyn is preceded in death by brothers Forrest and Irvin Messner and sister Dorothy Odenkirk.
